Developing Chinese (2nd Edition) – Elementary  Reading and Writing Course Ⅱ, the follow-up to Elementary  Reading and Writing Course Ⅰ, is suitable for learners who have mastered the basic sentence patterns in Chinese, grasped 1,000-1,200 common Chinese words and acquired the most primary Chinese communication skills. It has altogether 15 lessons in it, each taking about two class hours.
