Cangzhou Jiaotong University is a full-time regular undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was the Haibin College of Beijing Jiaotong University, an independent college established in 2008 by Beijing Jiaotong University, a key national university directly under the Ministry of Education. The school was granted the authority to confer bachelor's degrees in 2012 and was officially renamed Cangzhou Jiaotong University with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2020. It currently has nearly 20,826 students enrolled and has produced over 30,000 outstanding graduates for the nation.
Located in Huanghua, a heroic city by the Bohai Sea, the university is situated in the Cangzhou Bohai New Area, a national-level economic and technological development zone.
