College of Economics & Management Hebei University of Economics and Business was established in July 2001. It is an independent college approved by the Hebei Provincial Government and recognized by the Ministry of Education. It is operated by Hebei University of Economics and Business under a new mechanism and model as a full-time undergraduate institution.
Located in the southwestern high-education district of Shijiazhuang, the school enjoys a prime geographical location with convenient transportation. It provides a favorable cultural environment and a strong academic atmosphere, making it an ideal place for university students to study. The school is well-equipped with educational and teaching facilities, including two libraries with over 913,000 books, a digital voice laboratory with 648 seats, multimedia classrooms with 9,435 seats, and 35 practical training laboratories, including computer labs, a simulation securities market, an ERP experiment center, and a multifunctional academic lecture hall.
The school currently has six teaching departments: Economics, Management, Information, Law, Accounting, and Business, offering 29 undergraduate programs across six major academic fields: Economics, Management, Law, Literature, Engineering, and Science. The school's Flag Guard has won national team first prizes in flag-raising exchange activities among universities. It also performed the flag-raising duties for the Hebei Provincial Department of Education in 2017 and the Hebei Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism in 2019 during the National Day celebrations.
