fáng dōng chāi chú le jiù fáng zi 。
The landlord tore down the old house.

★拆chāi [v.] - Different meanings of 拆:
(1) 拆除chāi chú/拆掉chāi diào: tear down, demolish
房子被拆掉了。
fáng zi bèi chāi diào le 。
The house has been torn down.
