Mǎlì: Wǒ jiào mǎlì. Wǒ shì Běijīng Dàxué de liúxuéshēng. Wǒ de zhuānyè shì guójì guānxi. Nǐ ne?
Zhāng hóng: Wǒ shì Qīnghuá Dàxué Zhōngwén xì de yánjiūshēng. Wǒ de zhuānyè shì xiàndài wénxué.
Mǎlì: Qīnghuá Dàxué zài nǎr?
Zhāng hóng: Zài Běijīng Dàxué de dōngbian. Yǒu kòngr de shíhou, huānyíng nǐ qù wánr.
Mary: Hello! What's your name?
Zhang Hong: My name's Zhang Hong, and you?

学生：对。
Dàwèi: Qǐngwèn, wèishēngjiān zài nǎr?
Xuéshēng: Zài nàr, jiàoshì de pángbiān.
Dà wèi: Shì xībian de jiàoshì ma?
Xuéshēng: Duì.
David: Excuse me, can you please tell me where the restroom is?
Student: (It's) Over there, next to the classroom.
David: The west-side classroom?
Student: Correct.
