五年前的暑假，我高中毕业了。那时候，我们同学约好，五年后的暑假一起回母校聚会。

这五年里，我们大家虽然也经常联系，但是除了发发电子邮件、打打电话，从来也没有见过面。所以，能够聚一聚，我们都非常高兴。离聚会的时间还差一个多月，我们就在网上讨论聚会的计划和安排了。最后，我们决定在7月11日——就是五年前我们离开学校的日子，大家一起回母校。

说实话，没见面以前，我有些担心：已经五年没见面了，大家一定有很多变化，如果找不到共同的话题，该怎么办？但是，没想到，大家见面后，不但不觉得陌生，而且似乎比五年前还亲热，问好、握手，一下子就回到了过去。第一天的晚上，我们一边喝酒，一边回忆做过的坏事、傻事，痛痛快快地一直聊到天亮。

两天的时间很快就过去了。我们在宿舍楼、教室、操场、食堂、图书馆、体育馆，每一个曾经去过的地方，都照了相、合了影，作为留念。

这真是一次愉快的聚会！

Friday, July 13, 2012 — Drizzle

Five summers ago, I graduated from high school. At that time, my classmates and I agreed that five years later, during summer vacation, we would return to our old school for a reunion.

During these five years, although we often kept in touch, apart from sending emails and making phone calls, we had never actually met in person. So we were all very happy to be able to get together. More than a month before the reunion, we were already discussing the plans and arrangements online. In the end, we decided to return to our old school together on July 11 — the very day we had left the school five years earlier.

To be honest, before we met, I was a little worried: we had not seen each other for five years, and everyone must have changed a lot. What if we could not find any common topics to talk about? But unexpectedly, after we met, we not only did not feel like strangers, but even seemed closer than we had been five years ago. We greeted each other, shook hands, and in an instant it felt as if we had returned to the past. On the first night, we drank while recalling the naughty and silly things we had done, and chatted happily all the way until daybreak.

The two days passed very quickly. At the dormitory building, classrooms, playground, cafeteria, library, gymnasium, and every place we had once been, we took photos together as keepsakes.

It truly was a joyful reunion!
