玛丽：宿舍楼门口围着一些人，发生了什么事？
Mǎlì: Sùshè lóu ménkǒu wéizhe yìxiē rén, fāshēng le shénme shì?
Mary: There are some people gathered around the entrance of the dorm building. What happened?

中村：走，过去看看。
Zhōngcūn: Zǒu, guòqù kànkan.
Nakamura: Let’s go over and take a look.

玛丽：啊，广告栏上贴着一个通知。
Mǎlì: A, guǎnggào lán shàng tiēzhe yí ge tōngzhī.
Mary: Ah, there’s a notice posted on the bulletin board.

中村：好像是一个活动的通知。
Zhōngcūn: Hǎoxiàng shì yí ge huódòng de tōngzhī.
Nakamura: It seems to be a notice about an activity.

玛丽：中村，有的字我不认识，你帮我读一下儿吧。
Mǎlì: Zhōngcūn, yǒu de zì wǒ bù rènshi, nǐ bāng wǒ dú yíxiàr ba.
Mary: Nakamura, there are some characters I don’t recognize. Could you help read it for me?

中村：“九月二十日，国际交流学院将组织留学生去郊区参观，准备参加活动的同学，请带学生证到学院办公室报名。”学院要带我们去郊区参观。
Zhōngcūn: “Jiǔ yuè èrshí rì, Guójì Jiāoliú Xuéyuàn jiāng zǔzhī liúxuéshēng qù jiāoqū cānguān, zhǔnbèi cānjiā huódòng de tóngxué, qǐng dài xuéshēngzhèng dào xuéyuàn bàngōngshì bàomíng.” Xuéyuàn yào dài wǒmen qù jiāoqū cānguān.
Nakamura: “On September 20, the School of International Exchange will organize international students to visit the suburbs. Students who plan to participate should bring their student ID to the school office to register.” The school is taking us to visit the suburbs.

玛丽：太好了！什么时候报名？
Mǎlì: Tài hǎo le! Shénme shíhou bàomíng?
Mary: Great! When do we register?

中村：下午两点到五点半。
Zhōngcūn: Xiàwǔ liǎng diǎn dào wǔ diǎn bàn.
Nakamura: From 2:00 to 5:30 in the afternoon.

玛丽：在哪儿报名？
Mǎlì: Zài nǎr bàomíng?
Mary: Where do we register?

中村：学院办公室。
Zhōngcūn: Xuéyuàn bàngōngshì.
Nakamura: At the school office.

玛丽：要办什么手续？
Mǎlì: Yào bàn shénme shǒuxù?
Mary: What procedures do we need to go through?

中村：带学生证就行了。
Zhōngcūn: Dài xuéshēngzhèng jiù xíng le.
Nakamura: Just bring your student ID.

玛丽：我马上就去拿。你回宿舍去吗？
Mǎlì: Wǒ mǎshàng jiù qù ná. Nǐ huí sùshè qù ma?
Mary: I’ll go get it right away. Are you going back to the dorm?

中村：不，我还有点儿事，你先上去吧。
Zhōngcūn: Bù, wǒ hái yǒu diǎnr shì, nǐ xiān shàngqù ba.
Nakamura: No, I still have something to do. You go up first.
