有一年寒假，我和爱人去欧洲旅行，经过罗马的时候，一位朋友带我们去喝咖啡。
那是一个美丽的清晨。我们跟着他穿过一条小路，石块儿拼成的街道非常美丽，走久了，会让人忘记目的地，以为自己是出来踏石块儿的。忽然，一阵咖啡的香味儿飘过来，不用朋友说，就知道咖啡店到了。
咖啡店不是很大，但是客人不少，三三两两地坐在桌子旁边，一边喝着咖啡，一边聊着天儿。
我们也在一张桌子旁边坐下来，服务员给我们拿来小白瓷杯，白瓷厚厚的。我捧在手里，忍不住惊讶地说：“咦，这杯子还是热的呢！”服务员转过身来，笑着说：“女士，好咖啡总是放在热杯子里的！”是的，好咖啡应该放在热杯子里，凉杯子会把咖啡变凉，香味儿也会淡一些。其实，好茶好酒不也都是这样吗？不知道那端咖啡的服务员要告诉我什么。我愿自己也是香香的咖啡，认真、仔细地放在一个洁白温暖的厚瓷杯里，带动一个美丽的清晨。
One winter vacation, my spouse and I went traveling in Europe. When we passed through Rome, a friend took us to drink coffee.
It was a beautiful morning. We followed him through a small road. The street, paved with stone blocks, was extremely beautiful. After walking for a while, it made one forget the destination, as if we had come out simply to step across the stones. Suddenly, the aroma of coffee drifted over. Without our friend saying anything, we knew the coffee shop had arrived.
The coffee shop was not very large, but there were quite a few customers. They sat in small groups around the tables, drinking coffee while chatting.
We also sat down at a table. The waiter brought us small white porcelain cups, and the porcelain was thick. Holding one in my hands, I could not help saying in surprise, “Oh, this cup is still warm!” The waiter turned around and smiled, saying, “Madam, good coffee is always placed in a warm cup!” Yes, good coffee should be placed in a warm cup. A cold cup would make the coffee cool down, and its aroma would become a little weaker. In fact, isn’t it the same with good tea and good wine? I do not know what that waiter who served the coffee wanted to tell me. I hope that I myself can also be like fragrant coffee, carefully and attentively placed in a clean, warm, thick porcelain cup, bringing life to a beautiful morning.
