Alone in a foreign land, a stranger far from home; whenever a festival comes, I miss my family all the more.
yáo zhī xiōng dì dēng gāo chù, biàn chā zhū yú shǎo yì rén.
遥知兄弟登高处,遍插茱萸少一人。
From afar, I know my brothers have climbed to the heights; all wearing dogwood, they find one person missing.
