Jiangsu Normal University Kewen College, established in April 2000, is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, a city known for its rich history and culture, as well as being a national ecological garden city with the reputation of "Five Provinces Converging." The college currently has two campuses: Pan'an Lake and Quanshan, covering a total area of more than 1,351 acres and a building area of over 413,300 square meters. The main campus (Pan'an Lake campus) is situated in the key central science and education innovation district of Xuzhou, next to the Pan'an Lake Wetland Park, one of the first national wetland tourism demonstration bases. The location is exceptional, with beautiful scenery, an elegant environment, and well-equipped facilities.

The college currently offers 45 undergraduate programs across seven disciplines: humanities, sciences, engineering, economics, management, law, and arts. Among them, the Software Engineering, Marketing, and Film Photography and Production programs are listed as brand programs in Jiangsu Province, while 23 other programs share the high-quality resources of Jiangsu Normal University’s first-class national undergraduate programs. The college recruits students from 18 provinces and autonomous regions, including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shandong, with a total of 15,543 full-time undergraduate students. The college also has three research platforms at or above the municipal level and has received numerous provincial and national research grants. Faculty members have been recognized in the "333 Project" and "Qinglan Project" of Jiangsu Province, and have undertaken various projects such as the Provincial Natural Science Fund, Provincial Social Science Fund, and higher education research projects. The college has been approved for one national first-class undergraduate course and published five key textbooks for provincial higher education institutions.
With 61 professional laboratories in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Robotics, and Intelligent Manufacturing, along with 53 basic science laboratories, the college boasts fully-equipped engineering training centers, a student technology innovation center, a modern library, a sports center, and a student activity center.
The college emphasizes the integration of education with industry, actively promoting high-quality collaborative education. It has established deep partnerships with well-known companies such as XCMG Group, Neusoft Group, and Fengyun Animation Group, achieving close alignment between talent development and the needs of industries. Students consistently excel in high-level competitions such as the China "Internet Plus" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the "Challenge Cup" National College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition, and the "Challenge Cup" China College Students Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, winning more than 300 national awards and over 1,000 provincial and ministerial-level awards.
The college has pioneered the "Academy System" in independent colleges in Jiangsu Province, establishing four academies: Chongde, Qiuzhen, Zhishan, and Shangmei. It is the first undergraduate institution in the Huaihai Economic Zone to implement a "full boarding academy system." The college values international exchange and annually supports nearly 200 students to study and exchange at world-renowned universities, broadening their international perspectives.
