有人模仿我的脸，有人模仿我的甜，但他们模仿不了我可口的味道，我就是传说中的榴莲。

Some imitate my face, some imitate my sweetness, but none can replicate my delicious taste. I am the legendary durian.

我的样子怪怪的，浑身长满棱角，颇像刺球；我的气味臭臭的，把我切开，一股无法用语言形容的气味向你扑鼻而来莱，有些人会不适应，但也有人是喜欢我的，他而说我气味浓烈，味道鲜美。爱我者爱其香，厌我者厌其臭；但我的味道甜甜的，十分可口。

My shape is strange, my body is covered in edges and corners, resembling a spiky ball. My smell is pungent; when you cut me open, an indescribable aroma rushes at you. Some people may not be able to handle it, but there are also those who love me. They say my scent is strong, but my taste is delightful. Those who love me adore my fragrance, while those who dislike me detest my odor. But my taste is sweet and incredibly tasty.

• 嗅觉：离水果推还有很长一段路，我就闻到它的“臭”味了
• 触觉：我用手拍了下榴莲的外壳，“好疼啊！”手上还留下了小印子。
• 视觉：榴莲有小脸盆那么大，它的外壳是土黄色的又硬又厚，身上布满了坚硬的刺，活像一只小刺猬。
• 听觉：一打开榴莲，顿时听到大家喊道：“臭！好臭！”

知识拓展 

相传，“榴莲”这一名称为郑和所取。在郑和第三次下西洋的时候，在海岸边发现一种奇怪的果子，浑身尖刺，像狼牙棒，出海时间太长，队伍对食物的要求也没那么高，郑和和船员们摘下果子用刀切开，随口一尝，发现味道香浓甜郁，好吃到直接忘掉对家乡的思念。在海岸边呆了三天就吃了三天，走的时候恋恋不舍，遂郑和给此果取名“榴莲”，意喻“流连忘返”。
