Liaoning Finance and Trade College is located in the city of Xingcheng, Huludao, Liaoning, an important node city in China's Bohai Economic Belt. It serves as a gateway to Northeast China, with a coastline of 285.24 kilometers and convenient transportation through a network of roads and railways. The city, nestled between mountains and facing the sea, is renowned for its unique natural scenery and distinctive cultural landscapes. Xingcheng Ancient City is one of the four well-preserved Ming Dynasty ancient cities with intact city walls in China. Xingcheng Hot Springs, with a history of 1300 years, are rich in elements such as K, Na, Mg, S, etc., holding significant medical value. The coastal area features numerous bathing beaches, abundant seafood, and pristine sandy shores, making it an ideal destination for summer tourism. With over 40 natural and cultural attractions, Juehua Island is the largest island in the Liaodong Bay, earning the title "Northern Buddhism Island." Historical sites like the Jiumenkou On-water Great Wall and the Jieshi archaeological site boast a long history and global recognition. The climate is pleasant, with summer temperatures reaching the low twenties Celsius, and winter temperatures dropping to the teens below zero, creating an ecologically comfortable living environment.

The school is situated in a national 4A tourism area, covering an area of 1,143 acres with a total building area of 375,000 square meters. The modern architecture is arranged in an orderly manner, surrounded by well-planned garden landscapes featuring a mix of black pine and green willow, while ancient ginkgo and locust trees provide shade. The campus houses the Intelligent Accounting Department, Big Data Department, Economic Management Department, Business Administration Department, Physical Education Department, Arts Department, Marxism Department, and the Basic Teaching Department. Currently, the school has 11,366 students and 893 faculty members, including 678 both full-time and part-time teachers. Among the full-time faculty, 320 hold associate professor or higher titles (82 hold full professor titles), accounting for 47.1% of the total full-time faculty. Teachers with a master's degree or above number 518 (268 with a doctoral degree), constituting 76.4% of the total full-time faculty. The library has a total of 1.2 million books, 84,000 -journals, 3.49 million e-books, and 42,258 hours of video course resources. The school's total assets amount to CNYY2.099B, with teaching and research equipment assets valued at CNY¥0.137B.

The campus facilities are modern, featuring a state-of-the-art digital campus integrating the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence technologies. It includes 46 fully simulated professional training platforms, such as the National Laboratory for Big Data Application Technology and the 5G+ Smart Laboratory. Additionally, the school has independently developed five professional simulation training platforms with intellectual property rights and collaborates with international companies like JD, New Oriental, and Inspur to establish five Schools of Industry. These efforts contribute to comprehensive simulated job training, business practical training, and support students in seamless transition to employment upon graduation.

The school consistently aligns talent cultivation with the needs of regional economic and social development. It offers a range of majors, including digital economy, internet finance, artificial intelligence, data science and big data technology, accounting, international economics and trade, auditing, financial management, software engineering, information management and information systems, network engineering, trade economics, public administration, human resource management, tourism management, sports education, and social sports guidance and management. Emphasizing both new liberal arts and new engineering disciplines, the school leverages digital and big data technologies to enhance and modernize traditional majors. It strategically targets countries involved in the "Belt and Road" initiative and focuses on cultivating highly skilled, "plug-and-play" (high-quality adaptive talents) applied talents.

In recent years, the school has successfully completed 34 research projects at the provincial level and above. Projects such as "Construction of JD Smart E-commerce On-campus Practice Base," "RPA Intelligent Financial Robot Teaching Staff Special Training," "Curriculum System Construction." and "Transformation of Innovative Talent Cultivation Methods in Software Engineering" have been approved as high-quality industry-university cooperation projects for collaborative education in Liaoning Province. The majors of Financial Engineering and Auditing have been recognized as provincial-level first-class majors. Additionally, majors including New Energy Vehicle Engineering, Intelligent Vehicle Engineering, and Internet of Things Engineering (Vehicle Networking Direction) are currently in the planning stage. The school is the only university in Liaoning Province to be designated both as a "Digital Campus Pilot Construction Project Pilot Unit" and a "Demonstration Unit for Smart Education Model Creation." It has received honors such as the Provincial May 1st Labor Medal and the National March 8th Red Flag Collective. As the only private university in the northeastern region, it serves as the national center for innovative development in ideological and political work among private higher education institutions.
