Liren College, Yanshan University, established in July 2001, is an independent college approved by the People's Government of Hebei Province and recognized by the Ministry of Education. It is a full-time undergraduate institution managed by Yanshan University, a nationally recognized key university, under a new mechanism and model. The college is located in the famous coastal city of Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, on the west campus of Yanshan University. Covering over 1,020 acres, with a building area of 380,000 square meters, the campus boasts a serene environment, advanced infrastructure, a strong faculty, and excellent educational conditions.

Yanshan University, the parent institution of Liren College, offers 11 postdoctoral research stations, 14 doctoral programs, 1 professional doctoral program, 30 master's programs, and 17 professional master's degree categories. The university provides 64 undergraduate majors, with a disciplinary focus on engineering, as well as development in literature, science, economics, management, law, arts, and education. Yanshan University has five national key disciplines, five defense-related special disciplines, and 16 provincial key disciplines.
