老木匠
有一位老木匠，他的名字叫阿海，阿海再一年就退休了。

老板让他盖最后一间房子，老板对木匠说：” 阿海，你一定要用心盖，因为这间房子的客户是很重要的人。”

阿海心想：”反正我快退休了，把房子盖得马马虎虎也没关系。”

他工作时心不在焉，而且用了最差的材料，才花了三个月，随便完成了工作。当他把房子的钥匙交给老板时，老板把钥匙放回阿海手上，笑着说：”阿海，这是我送给你的礼物，谢谢你多年的辛勤工作。」

木匠非常震惊，原来老板口中重要的客户就是阿海自己。

阿海很后悔自己没有认真对待这最后的工作。

Old Carpenter
There was an old carpenter named Ah Hai, who was going to retire in a year.
The boss asked him to build one last house. The boss told the carpenter, "Ah Hai, you must build this house with care because the client is a very important person."
Ah Hai thought, "Since I'm almost retiring, it doesn't matter if I build the house carelessly."
He worked absentmindedly and used the worst materials, finishing the job in just 3 months. When he handed the keys to the boss, the boss placed the keys back in Ah Hai's hand and smiled, saying, "Ah Hai, this is my gift to you. Thank you for your many years of hard work."
The carpenter was very shocked; it turned out that the important client the boss mentioned was Ah Hai himself.
Ah Hai regretted not taking this last job seriously.
