Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) is recognized as a prominent member of the C9 League and is often referred to as "the cradle of engineers in China." HIT has established a global reputation, consistently ranking in the top 10 of the US News Ranking for Engineering over several years, and achieving high positions across major global ranking systems. Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen (HITSZ), which was established in 2002 as one of HIT's three campuses, currently hosts over 12,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
