“果然”表示某事的发生正如我们所预期的一样
是”竟然”和”居然”的反义词

果然 (guǒrán) means a result with a tone of "just as we thought" or "just as we expected,". It's kind of like the opposite of 竟然 or 居然.

Subj. + 果然(just as we expected) + Predicate

例句有：
你 说 得 没错 ！他 果然 是 个 骗子 ！You were right. He's absolutely a liar!
这个 止疼药 果然 有效 ，我的 头疼 好多了 。This painkiller works really well. My headache is gone.
他果然通过了hsk，因为他一直很努力学习。
He passed the HSK just as we expected because he’d been studying so hard.
