卧冰求鲤
很久以前，有一个叫王祥的人，他非常孝顺。
王祥的生母早逝，他的继母对他不好，经常对他冷嘲热讽。
然而，王祥对继母十分尊敬，无论她如何苛待他，他都无怨无悔。
有一年冬天，继母突然病了，想吃新鲜的鲤鱼，但天气严寒，河面早已结冰，市场上也找不到鱼。
王祥知道继母的愿望，他去了河边。
他不顾寒冷地脱去衣服，跪在冰上, 想用体温融化河面上的冰，但体温又怎么能融化这么厚的冰呢！
但他的孝心感动了上天。突然间，冰裂开了一个大洞，两条大鲤鱼跳了出来。
王祥高兴地将鲤鱼带回家，为继母烹煮。继母吃了鱼，病情竟然奇迹般地好转了。继母被王祥的孝心感动，从此待他如亲生儿子一般。
Wobing Qiuli (Lying on Ice to Seek Carp)
Long ago, there was a man named Wang Xiang, who was extremely filial.
Wang Xiang’s biological mother passed away early, and his stepmother was unkind to him, often treating him with cold sarcasm.
However, Wang Xiang always showed great respect to his stepmother. No matter how harshly she treated him, he never complained.
One winter, his stepmother suddenly fell ill and craved fresh carp. But the weather was bitterly cold, the river was frozen solid, and no fish could be found at the market.
Wang Xiang knew of his stepmother's wish, so he went to the river.
Despite the cold, he removed his clothes and knelt on the ice, hoping to melt it with his body heat. But how could body heat melt such thick ice?
His filial piety moved the heavens. Suddenly, the ice cracked open, creating a large hole, and two big carp leaped out.
Wang Xiang happily took the carp home and prepared a meal for his stepmother. After eating the fish, her illness miraculously improved. Touched by Wang Xiang’s filial piety, she began to treat him like her own son from then on.
