Zuótiān xià yǔ le,  wǒ hé Shāli qùle  Níkè jiā.

昨天   下 雨 了，我  和 莎莉 去了 尼克 家。

Wǒmen mǎile yìxiē yǒu zì de píngguǒ.

我们   买了 一些 有  字 的 苹果。

Zài Níkè jiā, wǒmen chīle hěn duō hǎochī de dōngxi, hēle hěn hǎohē de Zhōngguó chá.

在 尼克  家，我们 吃了 很 多   好吃  的 东西，喝了很  好喝  的 中国       茶。

Yesterday it rained, Sally and I went to Nick's house. We bought some apples with characters on them.At Nick's house, we ate a lot of delicious things and drank a lot of tasty tea.

语法点 Language Points

1. 疑问代词“怎么样”：在本课中用来询问别人的意见。例如：

The interrogative pronoun“怎么样”：in this lesson it is used to inquire other people’s opinion.For example:

星期天来我家吃饭，怎么样？

Come by my house for lunch on Sunday, how about it?

上午十点怎么样？

How about ten in the morning?

 

2. 副词“都”：表示全部。“都”的位置一般放在动词或形容词前，总括的对象后。例如：The adverb“都”：used to express totality.“都”is usually placed after the object that’s being summed up, but before the verb or the adjective. For example:

茶和水果都很好。

[Tea and fruit both very good] Tea and fruit are both very good.

昨天和今天都下雨了。

[Yesterday and today both rained] It rained both yesterday and today.

 

3. “太……了”：感叹句，表示感叹、惊讶。例如：

“太……了”：the construction forms an exclamatory sentence， used to express exclamation or surprise. For example:

太好了！

[Too good] That’s great!

这水太热了！

[This water too hot] This water is too hot!

今天太冷了！

[Today too cold] Today is extremely cold!

 

4. “不客气”：礼貌用语，用于回答别人的感谢，相当于“不用谢”

“不客气”：polite expression, used as a reply to people’s thanks, equivalent to “no need to thank me".

 

5. “好”＋感官动词：“好吃”用于食物，“好喝”用于饮品。中文用“好”＋感官动词表示好的感觉，可以用程度副词修饰。例如：

“好”+sense verb:“好吃”is used to describe foods and“好喝”to describe drinks.In Chinese,the construction“好”+sense verb is used to express a type of positive sensation. It can be modified by a degree adverb. For example:

这个苹果很好吃。

This apple is delicious.

中国菜很好吃。

Chinese food is delicious.

中国茶很好喝。

Chinese tea is delicious.
