DetailHSK Words
The best way to learn a language is learning by doing and playing and learning stories. I started with Tangram story, then teach some common Chinese words with Tangram patterns. Tangram is a great game for people's brain development.

I used very slow speed and also left time for viewers to repeat. It’s great for beginners to learn Chinese.

Hello everyone!
Welcome to Teacher May’s Classroom!
Today I would like to tell you a story about Tangram.
There was a man named
Huang Bosi in the Song Dynasty.
He had many friends.
He liked to treat his friends to dinner.
Sometimes more friends came, sometimes fewer.
Sometimes more friends came, sometimes fewer.
He designed a set of banquet tables.
There are seven tables in this set.
There were two long tables, two medium tables, and three short tables.
They placed different numbers of tables depending on the number of guests.
Originally, the banquet tables were placed for arranging banquets.
Later, playing the puzzle became a game.
In the Ming Dynasty, Ge Shan designed the butterfly-wing table set based on the principle of the yan ji diagram.
By the early Qing Dynasty, the butterfly wing diagram had evolved into the seven-piece puzzle diagram.
The seven-piece puzzle diagram slowly turned into tangrams.
Now we are learning words while appreciating the tangram patterns.
