Ghost

【中文】失踪、消失

    Shīzōng, xiāoshī

【解释】The act of suddenly ceasing all communication with someone the subject is dating, but no longer wishes to date.

【例句】

- Her husband ghosted her after 6 years of marriage and left her in debt with three small kids to raise.

 结婚六年后，丈夫突然失踪，把债务和嗷嗷待哺的三个孩子留给了妻子。

 Jiéhūn liù nián hòu, zhàngfū túrán shīzōng, bǎ zhàiwù hé áo'áodàibǔ de sān gè háizi liú gěile qīzi.

- Be careful when going out with him, I heard that he ghosted out of several relationships before.

  跟他约会可要小心，我听说前几段恋爱关系，都以他玩失踪不了了之。
