【中文】洗心革面；重新开始；改过自新；浪子回头

     Xǐxīn gé miàn; chóngxīn kāishǐ; gǎiguò zì xīn; làngzǐ huítóu

【解释】Making a new start. It is often used specifically to describe changes in personal behavior that are made with the goal of being a better person.

【例句】

- Adam ruined his health; so he decided turn over a new leaf and give up smoking and alcohol . 

 亚当弄坏了他的身体，所以他决定改过自新，戒烟戒酒。

 Yàdāng nòng huàile tā de shēntǐ, suǒyǐ tā juédìng gǎiguò zì xīn, jièyān jiè jiǔ.
