Yān tái yí wàng kè xīn jīng, xiāo gǔ xuān xuān Hàn jiàng yíng.
燕台一望客心惊,箫鼓喧喧汉将营。
From Yan Terrace, one look startles the traveler’s heart; flutes and drums resound through the Han general’s camp.
Wàn lǐ hán guāng shēng jī xuě, sān biān shǔ sè dòng wēi jīng.
万里寒光生积雪,三边曙色动危旌。

On the battlefield, beacon fires stretch beneath the northern moon; by the sea, clouded mountains encircle Jicheng.
Shào xiǎo suī fēi tóu bǐ lì, lùn gōng hái yù qǐng cháng yīng.
少小虽非投笔吏,论功还欲请长缨。
