The Second of Four Changgan Songs

jiā lín jiǔ jiāng shuǐ, lái qù jiǔ jiāng cè.
家临九江水，来去九江侧。
My home stands beside the waters of Jiujiang; I come and go along Jiujiang’s banks.

tóng shì cháng gān rén, zì xiǎo bù xiāng shí.
同是长干人，自小不相识。
We are both people of Changgan, yet since childhood we have never known each other.
