In China, a 菜单 can be an elaborate book with pictures, especially in larger restaurants. Some modern places use QR codes for digital menus. 定期更新 (dìngqī gēngxīn) is common to feature seasonal ingredients, reflecting the importance of freshness in Chinese cuisine.
