Sentences using 好不容易 are often followed by 才 (cái), emphasizing the action has been completed only with great difficulty.

好不容易 (hǎo bù róngyì) means "very difficult" or "really not easy" to do sth.

Subj. + 好 (不) 容易 + 才 + [Result]

"好(不)容易"表示某人费尽了不少功夫和努力才完成一件事
常常与"才"搭配使用
有时也做"好容易"，会把"不"省略

例句有：
我好不容易才减肥成功。
李花花好不容易才通过hsk6。
他好不容易才找到工作。
I have finally succeeded in losing weight.
Li Huahua has finally passed HSK6.
He has finally found a job after a long time.
