College of Humanities & Information Changchun University of Technology(长春工业大学人文信息学院)

The College of Humanities and Information of Changchun University of Technology is an institution of higher learning that was approved by the former Jilin Provincial Education Commission in 1999 and jointly organized by Changchun University of Technology and the Jilin Provincial Working Committee for the Care of the Next Generation. In 2004, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education as an independent college organized by ordinary colleges and universities. In 2005, it passed the special evaluation of the running conditions and teaching status of independent colleges organized by the Ministry of Education. The evaluation was "experts running schools, focusing on investment, focusing on quality, standard management, and characteristics of moral education". In 2008, it was approved as a bachelor's degree-granting unit by the Jilin Provincial Academic Degree Committee. In 2016, it established a postgraduate education alliance with Changchun University of Technology to jointly cultivate postgraduates. The college currently has 10,000 students, and has gradually formed a professional pattern of coordinated development of 37 undergraduate majors with engineering as the main body, six disciplines of engineering, management, economics, literature, law, and art.
