yí lù jīng xíng chù, méi tái jiàn lǚ hén.
一路经行处，莓苔见履痕。
All along the path I traveled, I see footprints upon the green moss.
bái yún yī jìng zhǔ, chūn cǎo bì xián mén.
白云依静渚，春草闭闲门。
White clouds linger by the quiet islet; spring grass bars the idle door.
guò yǔ kàn sōng sè, suí shān dào shuǐ yuán.
过雨看松色，随山到水源。
After the rain, I admire the green of the pines; following the mountain, I reach the stream's source.
xī huā yǔ chán yì, xiāng duì yì wàng yán.
溪花与禅意，相对亦忘言。
The stream’s flowers and the meaning of Zen—facing them, I too have forgotten words.
