Changchun Finance College is a full-time private undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education, founded in 1988. Focused on disciplines like economics and management, the college encompasses seven major academic categories: economics, management, law, literature, science, engineering, and education. It offers 31 undergraduate programs, including Accounting, Finance, and Digital Economy, across 10 colleges, three teaching departments, and one Moral and Aesthetic Education Center, with a current enrollment of 12,556 students. Over 36 years of development, the school has adhered to non-profit and public welfare principles, becoming an "A+" institution under the Jilin Province master's degree conferral project, a provincial model for talent cultivation reform, a comprehensive pilot school for holistic education, and a provincial model for party-building in private institutions. Its facilities, faculty, academic programs, and research capabilities have continuously improved, alongside expanding international exchanges and steadily increasing the quality and impact of its education. Under the Ministry of Education’s "Double Ten Thousand Plan," the college was selected for three national-level first-class undergraduate programs and seven national-level first-class courses, ranking first among private universities nationwide. In 2024, it ranked 9th among private universities and 2nd among financial and economics schools in China according to Soft Science rankings, and 6th in the Chinese Alumni Association rankings, securing a place among China's top-tier applied universities.
Campus and Facilities
Located in the scenic Jingyue Development Zone of Changchun City, the campus spans 814,700 square meters, with 244,100 square meters of existing buildings and 122,000 square meters under construction. It hosts 1.1 billion yuan worth of teaching equipment and features a national entrepreneurial incubation base, a national makerspace, and various provincial-level teaching and training centers. The campus includes a landmark digital library with 1.44 million printed books and 1.44 million electronic resources, and an 8,000-square-meter virtual simulation training center. Additionally, the campus houses a 600-square-meter Currency Museum, displaying 887 ancient and modern coins and serving as a provincial and national science education base.
The college maintains 131 off-campus practice and training bases, fully supporting its 31 undergraduate programs.
