Huihua College of Hebei Normal University was established in July 2001. It is a full-time undergraduate independent college approved by the Hebei Provincial Government and accredited by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in the southwest higher education area of Shijiazhuang City. Huihua College boasts strong faculty, comprehensive teaching facilities, and an elegant campus environment, making it a garden-style institution. Currently, the college has 9 academic divisions and offers 47 undergraduate programs across 9 disciplines, including Economics, Law, Education, Literature, History, Science, Engineering, Management, and Arts.

Since its founding, Huihua College has conscientiously implemented Ministry of Education Decree No. 26, continuously exploring new mechanisms and models of running the school. It emphasizes improving teaching quality, carefully cultivating talent, and has gradually formed a scientific, efficient, standardized management system with its own characteristics. In 2010, the college was named "National Advanced Independent College." In 2020, it ranked 7th in the national independent college rankings by Shanghai Ranking (Soft Science); it also ranked 4th in the undergraduate graduation rate subgroup of the Wu Shulian China Independent College Rankings. In 2021, it ranked 4th in the Soft Science China Independent College Rankings. In 2023, it ranked 2nd among normal-type independent colleges in the Wu Shulian China Independent College Comprehensive Strength Rankings.

The college's graduate school entrance examination (postgraduate) acceptance rate remains high, consistently above 20% for several years. Huihua College always prioritizes graduate employment, establishing an integrated recruitment, training, and employment system. The college actively organizes on-campus recruitment activities and has signed cooperation agreements with over 60 enterprises and institutions, including Tsinghua University's National Service Outsourcing Human Resources Research Institute, Junlebao Dairy Group, Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co., Ltd., and the Provincial First Kindergarten, among others, providing services and guarantees for student internships, training, and employment.
The college has been repeatedly awarded the "Advanced Collective for Employment of College Graduates in Hebei Province," and its graduate employment rate has remained above 90% for several years. In addition, the teacher education programs organize and select excellent students to participate in the "Teaching Internship and Support Program," covering over 300 schools in 70 counties and districts in Hebei Province and parts of Beijing, Tianjin, and Xinjiang. On June 8, 2013, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council, who was then a member of the Political Bureau Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee, visited Hebei Normal University to learn about the employment situation of college students. During the visit, Huihua College students, Geng Jiajia (History) and An Jinghui (Fine Arts), had the honor of meeting the Premier and listening to his guidance and advice.
The development of Huihua College has received significant attention and support from the Ministry of Education, the provincial government, and the Department of Education. Two successive Vice Governors in charge of education in Hebei Province, Liu Jiansheng and Long Zhuangwei, have visited the college. Leaders and experts from the Ministry of Education have also visited the college multiple times, affirming its development, management, and infrastructure.
