Xi'an Technology and Business College is a full-time undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education and authorized to confer bachelor’s degrees. The university is located in Gaoling District, Xi’an, along the banks of the Wei River, in the historic region of Chang’an surrounded by eight rivers. The surrounding area features a thriving commercial environment and convenient transportation, with Metro Line 10 providing direct access to the campus.
The university adheres to a development strategy of “high-end positioning, globalization, and personalization,” and practices an educational philosophy of being “student-centered, cultivating students through culture, emphasizing comprehensive practice, and highlighting innovation and creativity.” With engineering, management, and economics as its key disciplines, the university promotes coordinated development across multiple fields, including engineering, management, economics, arts, and humanities. It currently has 12 secondary schools (School of Information Engineering; School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering; School of Economics and Management; School of Art and Media; School of Humanities and Marxism; School of International Education; School of General Education; School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship; School of Continuing Education; School of Rural Revitalization Talent Development; and School of Social Welfare) offering 23 undergraduate programs and 13 higher vocational (associate degree) programs, with a total enrollment of 15,000 students. The Software Engineering program has been approved as a National First-Class Undergraduate Major under the “Double Ten-Thousand Plan,” while Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation; Financial Management; and Chinese Language and Literature have been recognized as Provincial First-Class Major Construction Sites.
